Village Mire 2016 - Halloween Cape Cod

Dr. Wolfram's genetic abominations have awakened from their hibernation and are roaming the grounds of the Village Mire. They have a ravenous appetite which can only be satisfied by feeding on unsuspecting Trick r' Treaters on All Hallows Eve.

If you are brave enough to journey into the Mire seeking candy, be forewarned... you may become the treat!

Drive-by viewing until 10/30. Open for Trick 'r Treaters on 10/31 between dusk and 9:30pm.

Meet Sam - Halloween Cape Cod, Village Mire

Sam - Enforcer of the rules:
Sam hides in the shadows of the Mire to enforce the rules of Halloween and punish those who ignore and defy them. To ensure that you don't break the rules and become the victim of Sam's brutal wrath make sure that follow these simple rules:

• Never blow out a Jack O'Lantern 
• Always wear a costume
• Don't vandalize props or decorations
• Always check your candy

 

Woodrow - Halloween Cape Cod Yard Haunt

Over the years Doctor Wolfram has experimented with insects, animals and even plants to create a superior race of beings. One night when he was staring out his window during a Nor'Easter he noticed the resilience of an old Maple tree that stood unaffected by the fierceness of the storm. The idea struck him to splice human DNA with that of trees to create a creature sturdy enough to outlive all humans.

He planted an experimental seedling on the grounds of the Mire and was amazed to see it sprout and grow to an adult tree within only a few short weeks. Woodrow, as it was aptly named, wasn't satisfied with water and sunlight. He began feeding on unsuspecting birds that foolishly landed on his branches as well as squirrels that dared to climb his trunk. On Halloween he seeks to fill his veracious appetite by wrapping his limbs around careless Trick 'r Treaters that journey into the Mire.

Meet Gourdie - Village Mire Haunted House Cape Cod

Gourdie is one of the oldest creatures that reside at the Village Mire. The mad genetic engineer Doctor Wolfram has created many unspeakable abominations over the years that roam the Mire in October. Gourdie is one of his proudest achievements.

Gourdie seeks revenge for his pumpkin brethren who are mercilessly slaughtered every year to make Jack O'Lanterns. If you enter the Mire beware, as he has been known to make his own twisted version of Jack O'Lanterns with the heads of Trick 'r Treaters.
